The Legatus is the newest project in which Dutch Blade Works is involved. At the end of 2019 we were asked by the team of knifemaking company QSP if we were interested in a collaboration with them. In succession of our folding knife Xerxes, QSP wanted us to create a new folding knife, which they could produce and go to market with.

From this collaboration, the Legatus was born. The Legatus is designed by our inhouse designers Cees Kaan and Toni Oostendorp. They were able to combine the style, vision and artistic preferences from Dutch Blade Works in this design. We wanted to present a strong, powerful and elegant knife that is also very usable. The Legatus is named after and inspired by a high ranking officer in Roman times.

The Legatus will be available at the end of October 2020, in 2 different options, a black carbon fibre inlay or a red G10/carbon fibre inlay. We are very satisfied with the outcome of this project and are convinced you will be as well.
